Mono Inc. is a German dark rock band from Hamburg, active since 2000, whose sound blends gothic atmospheres, symphonic rock, and melodic vocals. Founded by Martin Engler, Carl Fornia, and the late Miky Mono, the group built its own label NoCut after being rejected by every major. Since 2007, Engler has fronted the band on vocals, and their run of three consecutive German #1 albums - 'The Book of Fire' (2020), 'Ravenblack' (2023), and 'Darkness' (2025) - has made them one of the most commercially successful acts in the European gothic rock scene.
