DARK SUMMER Open Air Vol. 2 - Blutengel & Guests
An open-air dark-music concert with Blutengel and guests at the atmospheric Wasserschloss Klaffenbach in Chemnitz.
Blutengel is a German dark-pop group founded in Berlin in 1998 by singer and producer Chris Pohl. Combining synthesizer-driven electronics with male and female vocals, the band built its sound around gothic themes - love, mortality, inner demons - and a striking visual identity. Multiple albums have charted in the German top ten, with Un:Gott reaching number two in 2019, and the group remains one of the most prominent acts on the European darkwave and gothic festival circuit.
Blutengel released their 14th studio album 'Dämonen:Sturm' on February 28, 2025, via Out of Line Music; the 25-track record entered the German album charts at number 6.
The band launched the Dämonen:Sturm Tour 2025 in April, playing ten German dates plus a Swiss stop, supported by four dancers and elaborate video projections.
The album was released in multiple collector formats, including a limited 3CD hardcover book and a fan box designed as a Ouija board.
After a full 2023 tour, Blutengel kept a low profile in 2024, performing only three exclusive concerts before returning with the new album cycle.
