About

Olivia Chaney (born 1982, Florence) is an English folk singer, pianist, guitarist and harmonium player who grew up in Oxford and trained at Chetham's School of Music and the Royal Academy of Music. Her solo albums The Longest River (2015) and Shelter (2018) were released on Nonesuch Records, and her third record Circus of Desire followed in 2024. She earned a Grammy nomination for The Queen of Hearts (2017), recorded with The Decemberists under the name Offa Rex, and her setting of the traditional ballad 'Dark Eyed Sailor' featured prominently in Emerald Fennell's 2026 film Wuthering Heights.
