Uriah Heep - Live 2026
Legendary hard rock band Uriah Heep performs live in Leipzig.
Uriah Heep are a British hard rock band formed in London in 1969, widely regarded as pioneers of hard rock, heavy metal and progressive rock. Guitarist Mick Box - the sole surviving original member - has steered the band through 25 studio albums and sales of over 40 million records worldwide. Their classic 1970s output, from the debut …Very 'Eavy …Very 'Umble through Demons and Wizards (1972) and The Magician's Birthday (1972), defined the genre with thundering organ, layered vocal harmonies and Box's wah-drenched guitar. The current lineup also features vocalist Bernie Shaw, keyboardist Phil Lanzon, drummer Russell Gilbrook and bassist Dave Rimmer.
Uriah Heep announced the October-November 2026 European leg of 'The Magician's Farewell' tour, covering the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria and Greece.
Founding guitarist Mick Box returned to the stage at the Rock Legends Cruise XIII in February 2026 after missing the Scandinavian leg of the farewell tour due to illness.
Mick Box missed the opening dates of the January 2026 Scandinavian tour leg due to an unspecified illness; guitarist Sam Wood (Black Star Riders) stepped in as a temporary replacement.
Uriah Heep played a run of European dates in October-November 2025, including Vienna, Linz, Munich, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Berlin, Bochum, Hamburg, Hannover and Leipzig.
In September 2024, Mick Box announced 'The Magician's Farewell' - a multi-year worldwide farewell tour planned to run across 2025-2027, kicking off with a UK leg in February 2025.
