About
Voxtrot is an American indie pop band from Austin, Texas, formed in 2003 by singer-songwriter Ramesh Srivastava. Their early EPs - particularly Raised by Wolves (2005) - made them a defining act of the mid-2000s music blog era, drawing comparisons to The Smiths and Belle & Sebastian. The band broke up in 2010 after their self-titled debut album, then reunited in 2022 and released their long-awaited second album, Dreamers in Exile, in February 2026.
