Tone Fish
In its twelfth year, the band Tone Fish reshuffles the deck and brings a programme full of surprises to the stage. The musicians have never shied away from anything and that continues. With new songs, they showcase their complete instrumental range - guitar, flutes, bass, Irish bouzouki, drums and vocals. The sound is full and powerful, the beat drives forward. The influences are - besides Irish music - bluegrass and rock. The gaze also turns to the USA. Well-known songs are reinterpreted, lesser-known ones brought to the fore. Characteristic are the new original compositions with the band's distinctive sound. No one should be surprised if German lyrics also emanate from the speakers. Michaela Jeretsky's mezzo-soprano lends the songs an unmistakable warmth and power. Stefan Gliwitzski's voice is often compared to Mark Knopfler's, his playing on the Irish bouzouki
