The BEST of Black Gospel brings together the finest gospel singers from the United States. The programme of these exceptional artists features the most beloved and beautiful gospel songs in a two-hour show with instrumental accompaniment. The choir's repertoire includes well-known pieces such as "Oh Happy Day", "Joshua fit the Battle", "Down by the Riverside", "Walk in Jerusalem", "Amazing Grace", "Go Down Moses", "Oh How I Love Jesus", "Agnus Dei", and "This Little Light Of Mine".

The members of this choir come from the rich and diverse world of the African-American gospel scene. Each singer in The BEST of Black Gospel has absorbed traditional gospel songs from childhood in "African-American churches" and made them their own. They later refined their musically developed talent at various universities and music academies.

The singers have performed worldwide as soloists with choirs such as the Harlem, Golden, and Glory Gospel Singers. Some members of The BEST of Black Gospel have already collaborated with internationally successful artists like Diana Ross, Lionel Richie, and Stevie Wonder, toured with them, or contributed to their albums.
