American Christmas Gospels - Dennis Jale, Donna Rhodes & The Morris Family

Passau audiences have known Dennis Jale at least since his acclaimed Elvis concert in 2022 at the Ortspitze. The Austrian entertainer gained international recognition through his work with original Elvis Presley musicians. In "American Christmas Gospels" he brings a festive programme that draws on gospel, soul, and Christmas traditions from the United States.

Joining him on stage is The Morris Family from Nashville, Tennessee - a family of studio musicians who have been active in the legendary music city for years. Donna Rhodes, who sang backing vocals for Elvis Presley on hits such as "In the Ghetto" and "Suspicious Minds", performs alongside her husband Craig Morris, a versatile Nashville pianist, singer, and songwriter who has worked with the likes of Ray Charles, Johnny Cash, and Loretta Lynn.

Together with their children Sam and Savannah, Dennis Jale & The Morris Family trace a musical arc from gospel and blues through soul and country to heartfelt Christmas ballads.
