That a thinker of Olaf Schubert's caliber knows the answer to every question is common knowledge. But now Schubert takes the next big step. He asks questions. Important questions, like - "Now or now?". So a question that questions itself. The fact that the tail bites itself in the face is the artist's pure intention.

Incidentally, he created a programme title with an international sound. This tells us that Schubert is now multilingual - if not bilingual. At the peak of the globalization iceberg, the whole world opens up before him.

But the artist remains loyal to us, because he gives concerts in Germany - not many, but around 745. This shows that he has achieved what only a few manage - to stay humble despite gigantic success.

He wants to be an Olaf you can touch. Unfortunately, almost no one does, as he recently admitted to a major magazine.

On stage, Schubert reinvents himself completely and that is precisely why he remains himself. He follows his path consistently, but he does not cross red lines. No - he undermines them.

Yellow lines, however, he jumps over. This enables him to shift boundaries - including invisible ones - in all directions at once.

How he manages this, he himself does not know. But watching him during his show is a grandiose fascination, because even this or that piece of nonsense gets launched in the process.

That is why almost everyone (even his grandmother) who has ever seen him live simply says, deeply moved: Thank you, Olaf!
