Discovery Dinner Vol. 2: Dominik Karpik at The Kitchen

The second edition of the Discovery Dinner series takes place on 12 August 2026 at 17:30 at The Kitchen, Stacja Food Hall. The evening is hosted by Dominik Karpik, head chef of Mercato restaurant (recognized in the MICHELIN guide and awarded two Gault & Millau toques in 2026) and the fine-dining concept MDWA Sztuka i kulinaria. Karpik has been building his career since 2005, gaining experience alongside MICHELIN-starred chefs. He is a laureate of Dorszowych Żniw, the Festival of Palace Cuisine, and the Culinary Hermes 2023. In his work, he blends Kashubian inspirations with ingredients from around the world, and his tasting menus are renowned for their precision and fire-cooked techniques.

For this edition, Karpik has prepared a new, original tasting menu - the full composition of dishes will be announced shortly. Each course will be accompanied by a dedicated sensory pairing, developed in collaboration with the series partner. The evening is led by head chef Dominik Karpik, head chef Krzysztof Majewski, and bar manager Kamil Kotarba.
