Duo Pierrot

2027 marks the 200th anniversary of Ludwig van Beethoven's death, and Duo Pierrot takes the occasion to reflect on his lasting legacy and influence on the generations that followed.

The evening features two of Beethoven's violin sonatas alongside works by Claude Debussy and Franz Schubert. "We believe that compositions are life poured into notes, brought alive anew in each performance - always in flux, always in need of that live moment", say the members of Duo Pierrot: violinist Sara Schlumberger-Ruiz and pianist Jun-Ho Gabriel Yeo. Both young artists have already received awards at national and international competitions.
