The gospel sensation "The Best of Black Gospel" from the USA is back in Germany as part of their "Peace on Earth" Tour!

The Best of Black Gospel brings together a selection of the finest gospel singers from the United States. Their two-hour programme, performed with full instrumental accompaniment, features the most beloved gospel songs in the repertoire - including "Oh Happy Day", "Joshua fit the Battle", "Down by the Riverside", "Walk in Jerusalem", "Amazing Grace", "Go Down Moses", "Oh How I Love Jesus", "Agnus Dei", and "This Little Light Of Mine".

The choir's members come from the rich tradition of African-American gospel music. Each singer grew up with these songs in church from an early age, later refining their craft at music schools and academies. As soloists, they have performed worldwide alongside ensembles such as the Harlem Gospel Singers, Golden Gospel Singers, and Glory Gospel Singers. Some members have worked with internationally acclaimed artists including Diana Ross, Lionel Richie, and Stevie Wonder - touring with them or contributing to their albums. Others have taken leading roles in productions such as "Sister Act" and the gospel musical "Amazing Grace".

Since 1999, the choir has embarked on a two-month European tour each year, becoming the most sought-after gospel ensemble in Germany and across the continent.
