Gerhard Polt delivers an entertaining "Bavarian Evening" of a very particular kind - far removed from the clichéd idyll of white sausages and beer-soaked contentment. A sharp observer of human nature, Polt holds up a mirror to the darker corners of the "Bavarian character" in his Panoptikum Bavaricum, without simply handing him over to the unreflective laughter of homo googleensis.

The three brothers Stofferl, Michael and Karl Well sing about Bavaria and the rest of the world. They take the audience on a trip through the absurdities of the Alpine region - between ski lifts, Alpinismo Tropical, crimes against the homeland, hypocrisy and rampant concrete. A virtuosically played fire station collides with Bavarian rap, a heartfelt yodel with rustic, boisterous dance - all in the proven tradition of Biermösl Blosn, with familiar melodies and satirically sharp lyrics in the local dialect.

Gerhard Polt and the three Well brothers turn each of their increasingly rare appearances into a Mordsgaudium for the audience and themselves alike - because before you know it, the beer is drunk, the radish eaten, the Schuhplattler danced, the story told and the yodel done!

If the weather is uncertain, the event will take place in the Großer Kursaal in Bad Füssing.
